Refund & Cancellation Policy
We want upgrading to Pro to feel risk-free. This page explains exactly how cancellation works, when you can get your money back, and how to ask. It applies to the paid options shown on the Pricing page: the Pro Monthly plan (a $1, 7-day trial that then renews at $7/month) and Lifetime ($19 one-time).
1. The Free plan
Free requires no payment details and there is nothing to cancel. If you stop using it, that's it. You can also ask us to delete your account at any time.
2. Your $1 trial & cancelling Monthly
- During the $1 trial: cancel anytime within the 7 days and you won't be charged the $7 monthly price — the $1 is all you pay. The $1 trial fee itself is non-refundable, being a nominal charge.
- You can cancel anytime, either from the subscription-management link in your payment receipt (our payment partner emails this to you at purchase) or simply by emailing [email protected] — we'll cancel it for you within one business day.
- Cancelling stops all future charges. There are no cancellation fees, minimum terms, or lock-ins.
- Depending on the payment platform, Pro features end either immediately at cancellation or at the end of the billing period you already paid for. If your access ends early after cancelling mid-period, contact us and we'll refund the unused remainder of that month.
- Everything you already exported stays yours forever, and your saved menus remain in your account on the Free plan — you only lose the Pro extras (unlimited clean downloads, no watermark, HD export).
3. The Lifetime plan
Lifetime is a single one-time payment — there is nothing to cancel and no renewal ever. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the OnlyMenuMaker service. In the unlikely event we ever permanently shut the service down, we will give advance notice so you can export your menus, and anyone who bought Lifetime within the preceding 12 months may request a pro-rata refund.
4. Our 14-day money-back guarantee
- If you're not happy with Pro for any reason, request a refund within 14 days of your first purchase of either plan and we will refund it in full — genuinely no questions asked.
- This applies to your first purchase of each plan, not to repeat purchase-refund cycles (see Section 7).
5. Refunds for renewals
- Forgot to cancel? It happens. If a Monthly renewal charge goes through that you didn't want, contact us within 14 days of that charge and we'll refund it and cancel the subscription.
6. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] (or use the Contact page).
- Include the email address you paid with and roughly the date of the charge — a copy of the receipt is ideal but not required.
- We confirm and issue the refund through the original payment method via our payment partner. We aim to action requests within 2 business days; banks and card networks then typically take 5–10 business days to show the money back in your account.
Refunded or charged-back purchases remove Pro from the account, which returns to the Free (watermarked) tier. Your saved menus are not deleted.
7. Fair-use limits
The guarantee exists so trying Pro is risk-free, not as a free rental scheme. We may decline refunds where we see abuse — for example repeatedly purchasing and refunding to harvest watermark-free exports, refund requests made long outside the windows above, or purchases that violated our Terms of Service. We'll always tell you why.
8. Chargebacks — talk to us first
Please contact us before opening a bank dispute: we resolve almost everything faster than a chargeback does (days, not weeks). Charges from us will appear on your statement under our payment partner's billing descriptor shown at checkout. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks (e.g. disputing a purchase that was actively used for months) may be suspended.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under local consumer law. If you are in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases; for digital services this can lapse once you use the service with your express consent — but our own 14-day guarantee above covers you regardless, and is intended to be at least as generous as the statutory minimum. Where local law gives you more, local law wins.
10. Contact
Anything unclear, or a situation these rules don't quite fit? Email [email protected] — a human reads it, and we'd rather be fair than technically right.
